Alicia R. Battle,

I'm Alicia R. Battle, Owner and Licensed Therapist at Battle Mental Health, PLLC. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate in North Carolina. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and completed my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University.

I believe successful treatment is rooted in a warm, supportive, and trusting relationship. From this foundation I utilize an open mind and non-judgmental stance to gain a thorough understanding of your experience. Together, we will explore and work through barriers to build endurance for the life you are desiring for yourself.

Sheneica Hunter-Gibbs,

I'm Sheneica Hunter-Gibbs, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have over seven years of experience counseling people informally and formally in the Higher Education, Recruiting, and Sales Industries. I earned my Masters in College Counseling and Student Development from North Carolina State University.

My speciality is adult childhood trauma, so I work with clients on understanding how their past is affecting their present. I incorporate a psychoanalytic perspective to understand how client's behavior is influenced by unconscious drivers. I couple Psychoanalysis with Wellness, so after clients identify their root issues, they're able to comprehensively deal with the present, working through some of the nine stages of wellness. Counseling with me is authentic, transparent, and transformative. I look forward to working with you soon!
